Established in 2021, SemChip stands as Saudi Arabia's pioneering Integrated Circuit (IC) design start-up. As a fabless semiconductor company, we pride ourselves on a seasoned international design team with over 65 years of collective expertise in the intricacies of Analog and Mixed-Signal Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) and Read Out Integrated Circuits (ROIC). Our commitment extends beyond conventional boundaries, as we actively contribute to advancing system-level solutions and intellectual property (IP) for diverse industries, including healthcare, automotive, consumer electronics, security, and beyond.
SemChip stands at the forefront of IC design services, with extensive experience over a range of Process Design Kits (PDKs) and CMOS technology nodes. Our proficiency extends to tailored IP development solutions encompassing sensors, actuators, voltage and bias regulation, signal conditioning, and data converters. Offering full custom design capabilities, we provide comprehensive services, including full custom design, consultancy, IC layout and can provide packaged and tested silicon options, ensuring a diverse array of solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.

We design and develop highly reliable integrated electronic circuits, build reusable intellectual property, enable testing and reliability for harsh environments in partnership with the competent entities, and support the localization and transfer of knowledge for advanced technologies to develop national competencies and achieve sustainable impact and return.
SemChip Achievements
We’ve successfully taped out four designs to major CMOS foundries, with a fifth submission expected by the end of 2026.
We offer a library of 115+ IPs designed for seamless integration and rapid time-to-market.
We have successfully developed two versions of our ROIC technology.
We have successfully developed three versions of our custom RISC-V processor core for various computing needs.
Expanding our intellectual property estate with 7 patents in writing stage, protecting our unique circuit designs and methodologies.
Through CHIPATHON 2026, SemChip trained 200 national talents in IC design, with 100% of the 50 finalists successfully implementing SRAM for AI applications.
